Avoiding Poop is a one-button-simple dodge game: poop rains from the top of the board and you slide a character left and right along the bottom to stay clear. It's a remake of a dodge game many Koreans remember from school computers and PC bangs, and it still works the same way — one touch and the run is over, so your score is simply how long you survived, shown to a hundredth of a second.

On a keyboard, use the left/right arrow keys or A and D, and press Space to start or retry. On a phone or with a mouse, touch or click anywhere on the board and the character jumps to that spot, then follows as you drag. There are no lives, shields or power-ups. The hitbox sits slightly inside the drawing, so near-misses at the edge count as dodges.

Difficulty steps up every 5 seconds for the first minute: drops fall faster and more often, more of them drift diagonally, some start growing as they fall from the 10-second mark, and from 15 seconds several can land at once. At 60 seconds it stops ramping, so everything after that is a pure endurance test. Hang around the middle so you can escape either way, and watch the poop in the lower half of the screen rather than new arrivals. Your best time goes on the leaderboard, and you can send a challenge link so friends try to beat the same clock.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. How do you play Avoiding Poop?

    A. Move left and right to dodge the poop falling from the top. Use the arrow keys or A/D on a keyboard; on a phone, touch the board and the character jumps to your finger and follows your drag.

  • Q. Does the game get harder?

    A. Yes. Every 5 seconds the poop falls faster and more often, with more diagonal and growing drops. The ramp stops at 60 seconds, after which the difficulty stays at its peak.

  • Q. How is the score counted?

    A. Your score is your survival time, shown to a hundredth of a second. A single touch ends the run — there are no extra lives or items — and your best time is saved to the leaderboard.

  • Q. Any tips for surviving longer?

    A. Stay near the center so you can escape in either direction, and focus on the poop already in the lower half of the screen instead of the ones just appearing at the top.
