This is a fun, self-understanding personality test, not a medical diagnosis.

A high score isn't a label—treat it as a lighthearted look at how you tend to react, nothing more.

Empath or ice-cool? The Giggleus Psychopath Test gives you 20 everyday statements about empathy, guilt, impulsiveness and nerve to rate on a five-point scale. Your total becomes a 0–100% score and one of four types: Empath, Balanced, Bold or Ice-Cool. It takes about two minutes. The questions are our own, written for fun—this isn't a clinical tool, so a high score doesn't mean you're a psychopath. You can share your result card with friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. How is the psychopath test scored?

    A. Each of the 20 statements scores 0 (Not like me at all) to 4 (Exactly like me), and the 0–80 total is shown as a percentage. 0–19 is Empath, 20–40 Balanced, 41–55 Bold and 56–80 Ice-Cool.

  • Q. Does a high score mean I'm a psychopath?

    A. No. This is a for-fun trait quiz and can't tell whether anyone has psychopathy; that is assessed by mental health professionals through interviews and life history.

  • Q. Is this the PCL-R psychopathy test?

    A. No. The PCL-R (Hare Psychopathy Checklist–Revised) is a clinical tool scored by trained professionals from an interview and records, so it can't be taken as a self-test. Our 20 questions were written by Giggleus and are not taken from the PCL-R.

  • Q. How long does it take?

    A. About two minutes, and you can share your result card with friends.
