Sleep Sounds
Mix rain, waves, fire and white noise into your own calming soundscape — with a sleep timer.
Mix your own calming soundscape for sleep, focus or relaxation. Tap any sounds to layer them — rain over a crackling fire, waves under wind — and set each one's volume. Add a sleep timer and everything fades out gently. Plays right in your browser, no app or sign-up.
💡 Tip: layer 2–3 sounds and lower each volume for a richer, more natural mix.

A free sleep sounds mixer with eight looping ambient tracks: rain, ocean waves, campfire, wind, forest, stream, cafe and white noise. Turn on as many as you like and give each its own volume — soft rain over a crackling fire, or waves with a little wind — for falling asleep, studying or masking background noise. The sleep timer (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes) lowers the volume over the last 15 seconds and then stops everything, so the sound never cuts off abruptly. It runs in your browser with no app or sign-up. It is a relaxation tool, not a treatment for insomnia or tinnitus.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What sounds can I mix?
A. There are eight looping tracks: rain, ocean waves, campfire, wind, forest, stream, cafe and white noise. Tap a tile to switch a sound on, play several at once, and use the slider under each one to set its volume.
Q. What is the difference between white, pink and brown noise?
A. The difference is how the sound energy is spread across frequencies. White noise has equal power at every frequency, so it sounds like a bright hiss; pink noise drops about 3 dB per octave and sounds softer, like steady rain; brown noise drops about 6 dB per octave and sounds like a deep rumble. This mixer includes white noise only — for a lower, warmer texture, turn it down and layer rain or waves.
Q. How does the sleep timer work?
A. Pick 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes; the countdown only runs while at least one sound is playing. Over the last 15 seconds the volume ramps down to silence, then every sound stops. Tap the same option again or choose Off to cancel it.
Q. Does it keep playing when my phone screen is locked?
A. It depends on your device and browser. Sounds play as long as the page is open, but some mobile browsers pause web audio when you lock the screen or switch apps. If playback stops, keep this tab in front and lengthen your auto-lock time.
